Narrator: In this video, you will learn how to kill miners with a stealth fighter.

<loadout>

Take a stealth fighter. Unmount the shields and missiles, and fill your cargo with missiles.

<setup>

With your missiles in cargo, set up 3000 metres from the miner. Cloak, mount missiles, and fly towards the miner. When traveling at 100 meters per second, hunter 2 missiles have an effective range of 2500 meters. They will act like dumbfires if they are fired without lock, and will have no problem hitting a stationary miner. However, if the miner is moving, you need full lock to make the missiles hit.

When the miner is in range of your utility cannons, uncloak to save energy. Slow down or stop to avoid overshooting the miner, as stealth fighters have a slow turn rate. Utility cannons have a damage boost against miner hull, and will kill a lone miner quickly. This scout did not launch in time to save the miner.

After killing the miner, I dismount my missiles, cloak, and run away. Once I am far from the enemy, I can ripcord home without being detected.

<part two>

In this case, the enemy knows my team has stealth fighters, and an enemy scout is guarding the miner. The nanite scout repairs the miner, and it will dock safely at the outpost.

<part three> This time, I will kill the scout before killing the miner. Keep in mind that scouts have a good scan range, and stealth fighters die quickly. Stay cloaked, and uneyed, and kill the scout with missiles from maximum range. Stealth fighters have weak armor, so it is important to remain hidden for as long as possible. Note that a single seeker missile took out half my armor. Without a nanite scout, the miner dies quickly.
