How do I board a turret?

You can only board a turret if:
- You are in base.
- A ship with turrets is also in base.
- There is a spare turret space available on the ship.
To board the ship as a turret gunner:
- Press F8 which brings up the Transfer Screen.
- Double click on the ship you wish to board.
In the following picture you can see there is a bomber docked with one turret (out of a possible two) available. It is bold because the player who took the screenshot is already aboard the turret. The Starbase in Mielikki is also bold because that is where the bomber pilot, and now the gunner too, are currently docked.
