Creating a One-Sided Game

Creating a one-sided game can be useful to test out flight and optimize settings on your own.

This can not be done in the "Main" games, so instead of joining these, you will have to create your own game.

Go to the Games List. Below the "Join Game" button is the button for creating a new game.

Creating a New Game

In the opened dialog you can change the name in the top field. To be able to create the game, you need to select both, the server, and the used "core".

The choice of servers just might mean you have a slightly different latency, so pick any.

Different cores have slightly different in-game values. The one with the highest version number is the one normally used.

Once both is selected, the button "Create Game" will show up.

Setting Up Teams

Now that you are in the game lobby, join one of the teams. You will become commander of that team and "owner" of the game.

Next to the team names is a small checkbox. As "owner" you can click the other team's checkbox to disable them.

Launching

Now that all remaining teams (yours) have a commander, you can launch the game. On the bottom right a "Force Launch" button will appear.

Congratulations, you now have your own game and are commander of your team. Fly safe and be sure to come join a real game, once you are done testing.
