On April 22nd of 2007 the Senate was disbanded by Thalgor. See [[Thalgor's announcement letter]] and the initial [[Zone Lead FAQ]] concerning the new Zone Leads. The Senators served us well and deserve our thanks for their hard work and contributions that helped shape our community. We would not be where we are today without them.

The Community was self-guided by an elected Senate that represented all members of this community. The Senate was overseen by Thalgor who had final authority over it.

The Senate was the advisory body of Allegiance. Led by Thalgor and Pook, responsible for security and moderation, the Senate used to rule and advise over a variety of questions, creating the Terms of Service and Rules of Conduct, they helped enforce those rules in cooperation with the @Allegs.
