A Senator was a member of a squad who had been elected by the squad's members to represent it in the Senate. To be eligible for a Senate seat, a squad must have been recognized and have played a minimum number of squad games. Players who were not members of a squad were represented by one elected individual. The first elected SAL (Senator at Large) was Lindy_Hop, representing the "Mercs".

The Community was self-guided by an elected Senate that represented all members of this community. The Senate was overseen by Thalgor who had final authority over it.

On April 22nd of 2007 the Senate was disbanded by Thalgor. See Thalgor's announcement letter and the initial Zone Lead FAQ concerning the new Zone Leads.
