Default-Keybindings

These are the old default keybindings, as they have been since the start of Allegiance. They are useful for completing the first five training missions.

For playing online, the Blackdutchie-Keybindings are recommended instead.

The File

How to Install

• Extract the zip file
• Locate your /Allegiance directory
  • You can get there quickly by right clicking "Microsoft Allegiance" in your Steam library.
  • Open "Properties".
  • In the "Local Files" Tab, click on "Browse Local Files".
• If you have already customized your keys, make a backup of your old inputmap1.mdl file.
• Put inputmap1.mdl into the /Allegiance/Artwork directory and replace the old file.

Why Another Keymap?

• Sidethrusting in your ship is a useful maneuver in combat. With those controls on the Num keys, it is hard to do if you want to use any other function, like targeting, droping mines, and the like.
