DRM is especially annoying for people who can not read the material and need it converted to special formats (braille, audio, large print etc).

In MyLittleCountry there is an copyright exempt law which allows to have an extra accessible copy from a book.

Digital study books are often hammered shut, needing a special player or internet access to read. In the medical world I hear that anatomic books would be interesting to keep after graduation, but after subscription ends they can't be accessed anymore.
