Dear friends and members of the FreeAllegiance commuinity

The 17th anniversary of the game we all love is fast approching.

I would like to celebrate the occasion with an event.

The match will take place on March 19th at the following time
3 pm EDT (UTC-4, New York)
12 pm PDT (UTC-7, San Francisco)
7 pm GMT (UTC, London)
8 pm CET (UTC+1, Berlin)

P1 and Terran will command the teams
Solap (Executive Producer of Allegiance), and Reepete (3D art lead of Allegiance), will also attend and play with us.

Mark the date and come play the best game ever made!
- Blacksun events lead

Thanks to Ashortdude for the banner

The history of open-source Allegiance is paved with the bodies of dead code branches, forum flame wars, and personal vendettas. But a community remains because people still love the game.

I was considering it but don't want to make any promises yet. I record games every Sunday at this time for another game (luckily unlike Allegiance just need to start and stop recording and not change views, zoom, etc during the game). So I can probably record Allegiance at the same time on another system or perhaps two with one account on each team.

Still not real confident in my ability to record so if someone else can do it that would be great. I likely will attempt to record but don't know how well it will turn out. Been extremely busy all week so haven't had time to make sure I am prepared (meaning have enough hdd space, high res textures installed, etc).

Looking forward to watching your video once the editing is complete.
Make sure you post a link in the general forums and maybe even the gameplay forum.
