I have finally made the switch over to the new domain and refreshed the design (still some work to be done - the two main sub pages need some help). Really hoping the switch does not kill the search rankings. Guess we will find that out soon.

This is an essential step foward.

That looks about a billion times better than what we have now AEM, nice work!
My only minor critique would be against the font - New Times Roman is just a bit tired. It looks good italicized or in the larger scale boxes, but in the smaller boxes it doesn't grab me in the same way the rest of the page does. Especially the blue "Download Allegiance" link.
Definitely love the page though!

Yes, as I said it still needs work. I basically did the minimum amount of work to get the new site set up, move over the content, and the other necessary steps to inform Google/Bing that the domain has changed... about 8 hours total.Shizoku wrote:QUOTE (Shizoku @ Jun 4 2015, 06:01 PM) My only minor critique would be against the font - New Times Roman is just a bit tired. I did not custom design the site like I did with the previous version. I selected this WordPress theme: http://my.studiopress.com/themes/cafe/ as it very much matched the design I had previously except modernized. I took the steps necessary to adapt it to Allegiance but have not taken time to do any customizations other than a couple very small alterations.
The smaller box with the Download Allegiance link is certainly near the top of changes that should be done. StudioPress uses Google fonts with their WordPress themes. The font you are talking about is Crimson Text (https://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Crimson+Text). I can see if I can find a replacement. Although for that little box my thought was probably to replace the text with a button.

Looks sweet indeed!
I agree with the constructive criticism about the font and getting the blog off the front page... the age of them isn't very appetizing
also, these forms should definitely be saved or maybe archived, but for advertising the game, these forums are rather lacking. most of the active topics are not even game related... i,e, offtopic
