I am on the same computer I have been on for a bit. I'm at an internet cafe, and that may be the problem. If there is any diagnostic I can do, please let me know asap.
When I click on the "current game listing" it fails to connect.

Windows 8, HP lappy. can find more info if needed but I think its a network thing

Normally this issue occurs, if you using a AV/Firewall which is blocking DirectPlay opening ports at the router/NAT.
