As so many of you "enjoyed" my "rocky" map before, I thought I would come up with something novel again (sorry).
The key element of the map is the highway system that is directed anti-clockwise and highlighted with blue connections. The red sectors are your bog-standard sectors, while the green ones have no He and only have 1 asteroid, as shown in the top right highlight.
The reason the blue connections are called highway is due to the aleph arrangement : two highway alephs are facing the SAME direction, separated by 1.2k distance. Hence, if you are following the highway downstream, you spawn looking at the aleph to go to the next sector. If, on the other hand, you decide to travel upstream, in every high way sector you would have to turn 180 degrees back towards the next aleph (loosing all of the speed in the process).
The highway is also present in the red sectors that lie in the way of highway (1,4,5,8,3,7). these sectors will still have the highway aleph connections, but would also have a standard aleph to a "normal" sector. Sectors 3 and 7 are unique in that the highway aleph lies behind the aleph tp sector 2 or 6. So, for example, you could quickly travel from 4 to 3 then immediately to 2.
The other bubbles just highlight aleph/rock/garrison arrangements and should be fairly self-explanatory.
I am not sure whether this map will be played this weekend or next yvb game, depends on Dome, agreement of commanders and my ability to complete and bug-test it
Posting this here early so that people could understand the concept and potentially? form a plan to play this.
