So I just came home from the store with a new Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.
The stick didn't come with any software so I downloaded some crap from Logitech's website, plugged it in and launched Allegiance.
I am running Windows 8.1 (which might be the issue as it says on the box runs with Windows 8)

All I was able to do was roll/turn left and right.
Can't turn or go up and down in any direction and no buttons work.

Any idea how to configure this thing?
Thanks for the help

Set you axes, at the bottom of the keymapping menu.

Yep, I have the same joy but I rarely use it. I think Allegiance detects the joystick but does not give the correct values, so you have to map the joystick in.

The Logitech Software is @#(! as I remember it. Doesn't let you recentre the joystick if it's off centre

I just use mine without the Logitech Profiler, or whatever that @#(!'s called.

I didn't have problems like yours though. Are you sure it's working right?

As Blacksun suggested, I did the key mapping in game and it seems to be working.
I will mess around with it a bit
It's going to take some getting used to, my aim was terrible.

Thanks for the help

I have one as well. It worked fine on my XP computer. But on my 8.1 computer the buttons on the handle don't work in Allegiance and War Thunder. The buttons on the base work. Everything works fine in the controller "properties". It may be an 8.1 thing.
