Stumbled upon this one.

That game was January 21st 2007. It was the first time I flew for PK.

Actually I don't remember any part of the game at all.. but decent turnout! and I'm sure Aarm's voice was silky and warm.

Anyone remember their first squad game? or first game for that matter?

I had been playing Raider Wars until 1999 when IGN took the game down. I strongly suspected that IGN sold the code to MS because right after Allegiance was released. I have no proof...just that both cores are very "clean" code.
I bought the game, but only played on FAZ as I didn't have a powerful computer. Apparently many others were in the same boat...the game was too advanced for that time.
I didn't join a squad until I joined SysX in....2010(I think).

My first squad game, was too bad too remember. Dial-up, insane lag, huge jumpings. I prefer to leave that on the dark side of my memory.

My first squad game was as a Muffin of Mayhem, who as an entire group I shamelessly courted for their 1337ness. I got to be a turret on the bomber run that went through the other squad like a hot knife through butter. I literally screamed "$#@! yeah" as I watched in my pod as our final missile blew their last base.

i'm guessing aarm went belters with bombers (he liked bombing in big games like that). srm/sf went exp, but must have been bombed into a corner with nowhere to mine. looks like they lost there garrison, probably had int's with just mini1 to defend. vly with 25 kills is wierd, cause he usually was in scouts probing, nanning and proxing.

I remember my first squad game I volunteered to be one of the two perma-scouts. It was limited, and start of the game I went low, up through mid and into the enemy sectors. I found their miners, and even though I just had the one rack of missles I picked up a kill. I clearly got lucky, but I was very proud of myself.

My first squad game was with The Collective, which at the time was pretty much falling apart. Pretty sure it was vs a squad like PK which rolled us pretty hard, after even the first game I began looking for another squad. Unfortunate Jalindo and Airpizza weren't able to turn it around as they made the mistake of merging with Phrase's squad "X19" which is always a death sentence.

What felt like my first real game was with SysX vs BS or GB (one of the more bomber centric squads), commanded by GreySlayer. We got together a half hour before the game and just focused on hitting bombers as one group. Sure enough the enemy squad bomb rushed us and we blew their multi-nan bomber out of the water with a tightly packed group of rix basic figs. Flying with Tombombadil, Trystann, Lakeland, Grey, even Fofo was a lot of fun back then.

I'm sure in both these games I didn't whore it up too much, still pretty green and far too focused on being a "Turret whore".
