Impending Forum Downtime

Hello all.

The forum will be going down for about 6-12hrs at some point this weekend (April 27-28) for some maintenance.

Our friendly webserver is being migrated to a virtual machine on a much more powerful host. Once complete it will pave the way for some much needed improvements for our forum software, homepage, and other goodies including increased access for your community administrator overlord and his designates.

I don't know exactly what time the maintenance will start or when it will finish, but it will take place this weekend. Please plan to read whatever information you need from the forum in advance (squadgame times, etc.) so you don't get disappointed when you can't read the info live. I recommend squads send emails to their members to make sure they have the details they need.

The ACSS server and gameservers will not be affected by the forum downtime. Only this forum will be unavailable.

It was, yes.

SVN should be back up now.

And... it looks like portions of the upgrade had to be delayed until next weekend, so expect forum downtime next weekend instead.

Okay so there's been a bump in the timetable.

It was supposed to happen this past weekend, and when that failed it was going to be next weekend... but I don't want to wait

The forum will likely go down tonight for the upgrade.
