Hello again Allegites. I've been away for a while, but have recently been back in the pilot seat lately.

There is one aspect of our game that needs to change to make the game more attractive to newbies. Stacking has always been a problem, and with the recent rank reset it is less of a problem, but there is till the problem of subversive stacking, that is , knowing who to fly with and for, based on their name.

There is one simple solution: Auto assign teams. You click play and get permanently assigned for that game. This will make them a lot more fair.

What is the feasibility of coding this in for PU games?

But you may say: I want to pick my faction or play with my buddy. Well. I just don't give a @#(!. Sorry. I think it would be a vast improvement for the community.

It's on the todo list - and I was thinking of tackling it next but instead I'm going to focus on getting the built-in AI up and running. Then we'll see if it's any good and if it is, it may very well save the game. (this is not the AI in the trainingcore)

Well that is really too bad. I am honestly try to make a suggestion to improve the game and community, not just the elo-peen of a select few.

Pretty much this. Next time do what LANS did and post your suggestion in rants. You have suggested that we force people to play for comms they possibly will not want to fly for, in teams they may not want to fly in and place them away from their friends (which is an huge annoyance). ) is just going to cause issues. You have suggested that we leave teams to the autobalance system, yes that is what you have asked. But this DOES cause an issue, AS isn't perfect. Autobalance isn't perfect. And you run the risk of FORCING A STACK upon the game, you creating your own issue.

PS: Yung, sorry you don't give a $#@! but if im honest i couldn't care less about what bull@#(! ideas you come up with.... UNTIL THEY AFFECT ME AND THE GAME ITSELF then bitch it is on. You have placed an idea in the open that has been considered and reconsidered time and time again, don't say ACSS will have changed this, ACSS has allowed doors to open that ASGS had kept under lock and key but no it is not your answer. You have said it would make the game more attractive to newbies honestly though i don't see it, those newbies are players to. Hadn't you considered that maybe they have friends who play? Maybe that they hit it off with a member of the community and want to follow them? Or maybe they wanna play as a new faction? Your idea is not only bad for a new player it is stifling the experience of a newbie, they should be able to see what makes alleg fun have all the doors open, to be able to fly belts and not rix (because we all know belts is soooo much easier to fly compared to rix for a newb) or faction X v.s faction Y because Y lacks missles/rammable bombers/is horribly underpowered(looking at you dreg).
Yung what you have suggested is to completely $#@! over every member of the playerbase royally. (Except maybe yourself because Mr. Badasss doesn't give a $#@!)

TLDR: (Because Yung i expect you'll need it.)
Now in note form!
1. Keep your ideas limited to rants.
2. Your an idiot.
3. Allegiance is a game. (And should be fun)
4. Your idea doesn't do anything but diminsih the above point.
5. Your idea is a bitchslap to the player that takes away their choice and free will (in choosing a team and fellow pilots)
6. Your an idiot.

TLDR: Part 2 CS strikes back.
1. Don't mess with the game with your ideas (keep changes like that limited to rarely used GT special tech)
2. Your suggestion has been thought of and deem stupid time and time again.
3. Understand that a newbie is also a player and a person and that your $#@!ing them over with your suggestion.
4. It ruins a newbies experience in the game and their chance to find someone they could fly with / be friends with ingame (I mean having to play v.s the guy who was helping you learn to play is abit of a bitch and being podded constantly by your friend because he is on the opposite team and can't help you is pretty @#(!.)

And oh yeah if you wanna make a strawman like you did in your last line then please do a better job, that one was dreadful.

Quick edit : Spunk are you talking about those "Pig" things PKK was divising or your own implementation? Or something entirely different? Some transparency on that front would be greatly appreciated.

Regardless of your intentions if something is a bad idea(If only in my eyes) I will speak out against it. Just like any member of the community i have my opinion and like the majority i will voice it. Like some i will stand by what i think is the correct answer and like a select few i will verbally tear you a new hole in the process of voicing my opinion.

Pretty much that rant was written on the fly, I know the difference but I'm not one for spellchecks/grammar checking unless its something serious. While I did say some things seriously in that post the general hate portion was more in there for the sake of it then any well intended surgical strike on one's ego.
