Every time I look at the players online, I know who 90% of them are, and the rest, typically with a 0-7 number... I see them for maybe a few days or a week, and then never again.
Why are new players leaving?
What needs to be done to have better player retention?

How do you satisfy the current somewhat stable player base, but still appeal to the newcomers that are currently coming and leaving all the time for various reasons?

If you currently aren't playing, and just hang around the forum, what would have to happen for you to even consider coming back to Allegiance?
What would need to happen for it to be more fun and satisfying than all the other games out there?

Yes, because we are at 196 active people and can just ignore it.

I think the problem with this approach is that most of the people that read this probably still play. You should probably attach a feedback thing to the uninstall application that will send a message why person X uninstalled Allegiance.

I wanted to suggest something like that, just a simple thing asking why the person is uninstalling, and that you would appreciate feedback.
Maybe even check boxes on what their decision is based on, such as player conduct, technical problems, game mechanics, or other reasons.
