Give Ion booster a strange buff where if you hit back thrust it fires like a retro booster - but ion booster levels.

Don't buff pulse lasers by giving them more damage, give them longer life, so they extend range.

Right now GT expo is so strong, which ain't really bad (costs so much money to do) but giving GT Sup Res tech not straight damage or force boosts would be fun. Love to see the Ion booster get an auto retro power, would make it so tempting to take.

1) Retro booster are useless
2) Code change for an ineffective part of tech
3) Not worth the resorces/time

Ion booster currently has zero fuel consumption, but what kills it is that it still needs fuel to activate. Next release of Alleg will let it fire even when you have no fuel, then it should be really handy. It still works now to pack one instead of an extra fuel pack, but it's still too easy to run out of fuel at the end of the combat phase and screw yourself for the trip home.

I'll take a look at pulse lasers... I don't know what would be the right tweak now, but it'll be subtle.

I'm not saying GT needs a buff. Just would be cool to make sup as attractive (not just for stangs) to a GT comm, cause GT expo and Tac are so damn good. And I think they should be, opposing team should not let GT get full res tech, it's like letting Belts get Omnis, just would be cool to see sup be up to par with the other tech choices GT comms have.

I dont see how having a booster that can fire backwards is "cool" at all?

Again Retro booster is one of the most useless tech, if not the most, right now. It really has no use.

Well, Ion Booster is exp tech, so presumably he isn't referring to that :)

They are screwed over by being the same damage class as miniguns.

Something more like gat 3.5 that is strongly limited by the energy supply of the adv fig would be much more useful / satifying.
