I also don't know how to set up lan games. I want to install the game on a few computers not connected to internet and play lan games on them, but can't set up any lan servers, even on my laptop (which does have internet) Any help?

OK I've been out of the loop for a while so this may be off, but I wanted to chime in so you could play.
Your first problem should be fixed if you run Allegiance/asgs.exe as administrator.
Your second problem requires the standalone server to be installed and ran in LAN mode. Two Allegiance clients will not connect peer to peer. Check the Downloads section.
