COMBINED Squad Game

As many of you know I have advocated that instead of having our separate SGs, we should combine them all to ensure we have at least 1 huge game each week.

Can we at least try it once?
Can't the regular SGs just be played at 5:00pm EST on Sunday for 1 Sunday out of the year?

Ryj tried for like a year and it always was terrible.

The innate problem in this proposal is that there are (like it or not) two basic tiers of Allegiance players:

- The elite/hardcore/competitive
- The mostly casual

They tend to self-segregate based on squad. Your historically more competitive squads draw the first tier and the less competitive ones the second tier.

When you have an "all squad" game, it's obviously not fair to have say SysX + XT + RT vs everyone else, so the good squads get paired with the less-good squads.

This is frustrating for both groups.

The first tier folks feel like they are playing with a bunch of morons who couldn't care less if they won or lost, and can't follow basic directions even when yelled at.

The second tier folks get yelled at constantly and/or continually whored on.

Did I mention it never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever goes well?

This would be an excellent way to finally kill off Allegiance. I approve of this idea.

My being a GDI-merc-wannabe has everything to do with this dual squad nonsense. You are either the hating or the hated and I AM looking at SF in BOTH squads for example. Btw I've only been in the careist of Care Bear squads when this attitude dominated

I noes we got a love hate relationship atm but I want you to know the only hating is by the little green men brigade imho.

In a nutsehell: Stop being so $#@!ing arrogant that somehow only you can see the forest from the trees
