This has always bugged me...

Back when I was younger, still in gradeschool, I had the misfortune of being stuck in a native american reservation for 3 years while my family was trying to get a motel sold.

I guess I was just jealous, but it seemed a bit unfair that the natives got:
-Free school supplies given to them at the beginning of the year, and also provided year-round free of charge. (Everyone else had to drive over 100 miles to the nearest city that even sold school supplies.)
-Free breakfast and lunch.
-No workshop fees. (Didn't have to pay for replacement parts when they broke something, either.)
-Laptops with wireless network cards, Microsoft Office, and Age of Empires II.
-Administrative favoritism. (One of them shot my friend in the eye with a paper wedge and ruined their eyesight in that eye, and they never got expelled, just 5 minute trip to the office. Anyone else would get expelled for this, and did.)
-A big super-fancy school bus with personal air conditioners, window shutters, silk cushioned seats with arm rests, and LED lighting. (No stops for anyone else, they had to get a ride or walk home)
-Monthly checks that they liked to constantly brag about and bought frivolous things with and were typically 10 times what I managed to make in doing actual work for my neighbors.
-Free ambulance trips. (The ambulance came to be known as the "Indian Taxi")

Ah well, I guess I'm just an insensitive land-stealing jackass that defiled their sacred grounds or some @#(!, idk.
Am I even allowed to post this topic here? It feels like some sort of taboo, like I'm gonna have people in dark suits and sunglasses show up at the door and tell me to kindly shut the $#@! up or be forced to go through some cultural sensitivity course.
