Pretty strait forward,

Id like to have my forum accountname renamed, and if possible my main asgs accountname swapped to the hider i'm using these days.

Could this be done without to much hassle?
The hider i'm using these days is pnx. I'm not to fond of thajes anymore but wouldn't want to make a new forum account as i'm pretty proud of beeing with you and allegiance since 2003.

Thankyou in advance,

thajes who wants to be pnx

We really don't do forum nick changes, per se. If you have a Member+ (contributor) status I believe that you can change the *display* name in the forum. This preserves the history of the forum account, but allows you to change the displayed name.

As for the main game (ASGS) nick, when we redo a nick reset (usually twice a year) the first nick you use once the reset is triggered then becomes your main nick. (IIRC). We might have another nick reset in August.

Note: You can set any of your ASGS callsigns to be the primary one yourself through the ASGS client.

Start ASGS, select "tools -> Set Primary as callsign at login"
Login to play with whatever callsign you wish to be your new primary one.

Not that it makes a huge amount of difference (apart from pnx will be on the leaderboard).

As for the forum account - as freeb said you can change the display name (which is all thats probably important to you) if you contribute.

If I remember correctly (if you wish to do this) - you go to My Controls and select the Purchase a paid subscription. As-well as the ability to change forum name, you get no delay on searches, ability to host your avatar on FAO, and maybe other stuff I can't remember.

Ok - I'll close this thread as resolved then as you appear happy enough. Thanks for replying.
