Soo, we're finally at the end of Allegiance 2010 League and let's look at who is going up and who is going down.

Overall it's been a pretty interesting run, with SysX dominating divison 1 and a great year for XT after some season starting trouble.
Both RT and PK prove that they more than deserve their division 1 place, just a bit more effort guys and you can be at the top next time.
SF just couldn't pull it together and with their poor performance and attendance problems they will be in division 2 next year.

In division 2 BS is the most likely candidate for advancement, but with some luck ACE can still tie for first division place.. personally I hope we see a tie-breaker match.
SRM could have done a better job, considering all the talent in that squad.. better luck next year.
GB.. I was actually rooting for your guys, get better!

None shall forget DSM for their epic shortest game in squadgames history. Sorry guys, that exp rock was yours, spidey should not have stolen it.

And now for the final games:

SysX vs PK:

The game that decides the first place of the league, but can PK really beat SysX. Just a warning guys, we won't screw around with this one, expect a hell of a fight.

XT vs RT:

XT is on a roll and a clear favourite here, but lets not forget RT beat XT in the beggining of the season. This will probably be the most interesting match this week, if RT decides they have something to prove..

SF vs BS:

As asleep SF has been in the last games, BS is the favourite. Then again SF has nothing to lose, so they might actually do something silly and pull a win.. we'll see.

ACE vs GB:

Well... ACE, but would be nice if GB wakes from hibernation to end the season with a surprise.

Most memorable league game this year:
SysX vs XT on Apr-18
3 and a half hours of constant attacks and counter attacks. We lost that one, but it was all you want from a satisfying Allegiance game. Tiring one as well :P

edit: RT>XT

Actually, we are playing a double-header with GB this weekend, since we rescheduled last match that they had nine players.

Should we win both, we'll take second division regardless of how BS does. If we only win one, then it depends.

If we don't win either, then we will be Very Sad Indeed.

I don't think anyone expected XT to make this much of a resurgence after how badly we were doing for a long time.

In a word: yes.

Expanding:

I don't think there is anyone with a PK tag who could honestly say, "PK has absolutely no chance of beating SysX." Truth is, PK is good enough to beat SysX. So it's not really a question of "Can PK beat SysX?" but "Will PK beat SysX?" To that, I answer no. We can probably match SysX for talent, but I don't think we can match SysX for drive.

QUOTE Just a warning guys, we won't screw around with this one, expect a hell of a fight.[/quote]
I don't think I've ever seen a game where SysX screwed around against PK. It's why I look forward to these games even though we lose more often than we win: I know SysX is going to show, and in force. There's something exciting about playing the best at the top of their game even if you lose horribly. I am ecstatic that I have this weekend off, and I will see all of you at 12:00 pdt!
