I'm probably not going to release a GUI mod myself. I'm not really good at them, and i'm not really around regularly enough to do long-term maintenance. Also, i'm really not prepared to do all kinds of "can i have this bit in pink with yellow dots, please?" - type requests. I just wanted to let everyone know that this can be done, that it can look pretty darn cool, and that its very easy to do.

Of course,i did do my own.... I might be flattered or bribed into releasing that in some form.... :D

Excellent, the old way only allowed for either full opac or full trans. This could be used in so many ways.

Guys, thank the Dev team!

They did all the hard work, enabling support for DirectX 9 and PNG's, to make this possible.

I didn't actually do any of that.

Now go and make them proud and hack together some goodlooking UI's!

Can someone make a zip with all relevant graphics in png format? That will help modding.
