I'd assume they put the application topic in the AFS forums, as under the current design, most of the people who would be applying to Cadet-II would be in AFS when they apply.

I'd assume that they would officially say that cadet II is starting up under news forum a few days before actually starting it, as opposed to unofficial statements that cadet II is starting soon.

Unofficial? I created a whole topic a week ago in the AFS forum which said this, along with a self-assessment questionairre.

Not good enough! Fly, drive, swim to each person's house to personally invite them into Cadet II... oh and while you're at it give the internet a kick, the damn thing seems to be acting up again.

It wasn't in news though. And what about the people who graduated from CDT-I before AFS started? They wouldn't see your post at all.

I believe in that case they would already know about CDT-II and how to register then, since CDT-I must have advised them that when it doubt, wiki it out.
