Questions!

1) What was the thinking behind not having play-offs for all the positions?
2) Can't we at least declare the losers of match #19 to be 4th?
bonus question 3) What happened to the graphics for the 2008 tourney? For example, look at this http://www.freeallegiance.org/forums/index...showtopic=45680 - there's a gap in bp's post where the diagram showing how the league is going should be.

Great questions, the answer is sad. Files were originally hosted on Google Pages. Well, Google Pages is now down, but Google allowed me to set up a redirect so for some time files were still seamlessly available on Sp4wn's AGC servers. Well, the AGC servers are now also down for good. I'm not sure I can edit the redirection anymore...

EDIT: woot I can! These four images are now back in their place. Tomorrow I'll see what I can do to unbreak all other links without shooting myself in the foot.

Here they are again, now from my Dropbox. Hopefully these will last for more than one year... <.<

11th, 10th and 9th place are a three-way standoff. You need too many games to sort them out.

The way the system is set up, if you lose two games you're done playing. You can have those weeks the people who lose twice keep playing to settle 9th - 11th.

Not like those squads will have much choice of other squads to play in the weeks after though! I suspect those squads will have known beforehand that they weren't going to win the thing - maybe the chance of finishing 9th would mean something to them?

5th/6th and 7th/8th are pretty easy to work out though. Why couldn't we have playoffs for those? Why do we have to make this tourney different to the 2007 and 2008 versions in those regards?

Oh, and great work on getting the 2008 tourney stuff up again

My inner data gatherer will feast upon them, and I can use info in it for preview threads
