Thanks to McWarren for commanding against me - and my team for sticking it out the whole time and making a comeback from one sector to Longtom Crusiers.
Lingus + Saxy provided some very amusing miner kills - though just about everyone pulled their weight.
Remember:
All things are equal before Util 3 (including two sup cons, miners, and multiple op cons)
Special shoutout to Spidey who killed their home tp in his sb THEN killed their op con with multiple abs and a blast of Util 1 while under heavy fire. That guy is awesome!
Glorious IC vs Belts
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.
I know him. He's so $#@!ing awesome. Above average commander too!spideycw wrote:QUOTE (spideycw @ Aug 25 2009, 04:35 PM) Special shoutout to Spidey who killed their home tp in his sb THEN killed their op con with multiple abs and a blast of Util 1 while under heavy fire. That guy is awesome!
The only thing greater than his skillz is his modesty. Always hiding his light beneath a bushel. He should blow his own trumpet a bit more......
A good idea would have prolly been for you to get out of your heavy int and drive a bomber or maybe nan.Shizoku wrote:QUOTE (Shizoku @ Aug 25 2009, 01:15 PM) both comms seemed to be purposely doing the thing that would draw the game out more.
If Para's bomber did not kill anything the first 5 times with his 0 kb and 3 voob nans - maybe your 44kb+ would have killed something? Especially since the tac was within 2k of the Nadir aleph.

Spidey, its ok to tell them the truth now. Last time spidey and I played drinking games I ran out of money so I agreed to let him win a game. Despite how much we were trying to lose it took nearly three hours for spidey to beat us. I kept going on TS with him to give him pointers but he just wouldn't listen... that nubbin'.spideycw wrote:QUOTE (spideycw @ Aug 25 2009, 04:02 PM) A good idea would have prolly been for you to get out of your heavy int and drive a bomber or maybe nan.

That game was so boring I felt asleep.
PUGs (and even a lot of SGs) are becoming more and more DM parties where people care more about their stats than ending the game, especially the so called 'high ranked vets'. If this goes on, these people will become a plague to this game (if they're not already).
The next time I comm, i'll check the # kills near mid game and boot the #1 pilot. IF all comms do that, I'm pretty sure games will get better
