Change the names back

I don't think I've suggested this since spidey is in command.

DN messed up with a lot of names. My guess is that the main reason noir messed with them was that they were easier to manage in ICE(oddly enough, most of the changes he did ended up putting similar tech together in ICE since it is in alphabetical order). Imo, the old names were much better and I don't think the new ones are worth it just to make it a little bit easier for the core devs. There's also a bunch of names that were shortened. I personally prefered the full names.

I think I forgot to mention that I don't want to change everything back(The . before the name of the drones is one of those good change I though of). I just listed everything. Imo, most of the changes should be removed, but there's still a few things that made sense.

Thx Pkk, I looked at an A+ version for GT tech, but though that TF was DN only and didn't suffer from any changes.

I was under the impression that Supremacy (Adv) and Garrison (Str) etc. were also for ease of chat commands.

I dunno Vly - I can't think of any reason we should really go through and change the names back besides the fact you like them the old way. They are a bit longer and people will now have to memorize more things when using ctrl-g

I still try to send my miners to ADV techbase rather than techbase(ADV) so I understand that people who are used to the new ways might not want to go back. I didn't think that people have gotten used to the new ways(Cause I didn't).

I still don't understand the Palisade and Research changes.

Also:
Ballista to Bomber
Pod bomber to Stealth bomber and so on...
The only reasons these might be better are:
-Easier for core devs to find the required tech
-Easier to learn for complete newbies

It's obviously not a huge issue but for some reasons, the new names annoys me. I just hoped I wasn't the only one who was bothered by these.
