One of the most effective warm-up/training exercises for aiming I have found is flying without the range finder and crosshair. The usually way to do this is to either change the artwork file to a blank or play a game with friendly fire enabled. This would just make it simpler.
Would it be worth it? Would enough of you find this useful enough for it to be worth the effort.
If you decide not to choose you still have made a choice.
Has fun.
