On the topic of sprites, can we get rid of the stupid Gat3 sprite or at least make it smaller? It creates enormous clutter and ever since they changed it so you can't modify them with Madp's sprites, it's become annoying. Could you guys change the Gat3 sprite to the smaller version?
I suggested this a while ago and I thought it would be implemented during CC_03 but apparently not. There is zero reason to have such a huge sprite. Same thing for the AC3 sprite, which I think is the same as the Gat3 one.

It's especially annoying on the dreg fighters, having these seizure inducing gat bullets flashing on your screen and blocking the target you're trying to hit.
Though that's really the case for all stages of gat on the figs, gat3 is just unbearable though.

As far as I have seen, all turrets have lead indicators. If you have lead indicators, there shouldnt be a need to see the target (other than having to see if it is behind a rock/base/any other obstruction).
As with other HUD elements, lead indicators will always be shown on the screen and therefore large bullets won't block the indicator.
EDIT: HOLY @#(!, the gat gun 3 sprite is really huge. Would definitely like to see a change to the gat3 sprite

Zero, most vets still look at their target to make sure they are hitting it. Lead indicators can be spoofed.

If you are to lazy, use is one:

This overwrites std gat sprites with DN version.

Do they use the same file name as the DN sprites?
I made a version to replace the DN sprites

Crono...I had some wicked-cool gat sprites that were color-coded (red-gat1, green-gat2, indigo-gat3) neon with white hot core. I was told they were cheating.

Because then if you knew the enemy had gat2/gat3 and that both of you are sup, you would know you should quickly kill a fig to steal their tech.
