I want to play GoD core where it takes forever to get heavy ints.

As soon as both teams get them, the game turns into garbage.

I played a 2 hour 51 minute game the other day. We were favourites from about 30 minutes and clear favourites from 1 hour 20, but still it went on, and on, and on. No base attacks could succeed due to heavy ints, and pulse probes meant the only way for the game to end was figbees. So we had to save up for loads of stuff to get that & end the game. Some people thought this qualified as a good game :o I though it could've used a resign about 90 minutes earlier.

Well it really depends on team composition, the commanders and the general feeling of the day. There have been many enjoyable Exp games in my time.

he came out of a bad game where we had the upper hand but we quickly lost it due to wanna-be heroes in hvy interceptors.

I remember that game, I think. IC exp vs Rix exp right? Highlight(?) was a simultaneous htt run (with a decent number of nans) which failed on all three targets.

I can't remember such details. I do however remember that no htt run ever worked, as they rarely do against hvy ints, esp. when they have pps (exception - bios). I was just left with the feeling that, if I wanted to play a game which was basically 85% dogfighting, I would've gone to play something else.

For some reason, exp vs exp turns into quake in space more often than not.

I mean, it doesn't even get close in squadgames, where there's enough coordination to do things like push cons or build a shipyard, but in pugs exp versus exp has to end before both sides gets mini2 heavies. Heaven forbid both sides get mini-3 heavies, because then it becomes impossible to move thirty meters from your base in anything but a heavy int.

Have no fear EXP nerfs are here. Im starting to tackle EXP in my core and hopefully i can make it a little bit more balance in relation to the paths and or made the other paths a bit more viable next to EXP.
