First off, the Drama I apologise for being involved in it. I feel it's time we got back on track. The CC will be getting a new Zone Leader in due course. In the interm, I think we need to get the development back on track.
Changes that will be in the next release are;

Agreed, I would like to see a bit of a reduction on Rix mining speed though. The weak miners are cool, but they should stay at the rock longer.

I think the real balancing needs to be the GT scout. I mean a ship that automatically mounts a nan? How can people possibly screw that up? Make it have second slot that requires the player to manually mount that sucker!

As it is IC is just too strong, with IC exp being the strongest in game. Currently all you have to do is to plant an expansion and possibly find mini2 and you have so much tecnological advantage early in the game, you can just steamroll over any other faction in game. IC sup is not much weaker, but who in their right mind will go IC sup, when they can go IC exp.

- make IC research their ships like everyone else and level the field a little

- remove heavy bases and teleports and give the supremacy techpath a chance against IC

GT is riddled with problems. Dead end techpaths.. heavy dependancy on bases, slow mining. Fixing just one of them can make it more viable.
- raise miner FLYING speed (or introduce a GT refinery)

GT scouts are fine. Though pilots would never forget bringing the nanite, they must remember to deactivate it before gunning anything. More so if FF was on more often.

IMHO, Sniper should be 2x14 or even 1x28 instead of 8x3.5. It feels too much like a long range disruptor.
