RT vs SF

Gamesize: 16 vs 17 (including 3cdts)
Duration: 1.02h
Map: Gold
Sett: 1.25/ 1.25 / Res: Normal / Con: High / Treasure: Normal SY On

Summary:

It started with SF building their TP midhigh (C rock) and pushing their Op high next to RT's home. RT builds its Op midlow and the TP somewhere else. RT's carrier which went high to intercept SFs OP con failed to do so but continued to roam around to harass SF Miners high. Miners start to die (on both sides), SF builds its Sup next to its home midhigh because their TP is camped and RT gets an Exp mid low (also next to their home).

Both teams keep expanding and SF kills RTs brave carrier sitting around in their back sectors at one stage (EnhFigs up). RT puts an Op midhigh into SF's TP sector and both teams bomb the respective base simultaneously. RT starts int bombing the high OP next to their home which doesn't work too well against a load of DF2 at first but the second attempt (HvyInts) succeeds.

L1ngus keeps sending cons into suicide without mentioning anything on ts and RT starts to think he went nuts. On the other hand a kinda confused RT never reacts to his orders on ts and he thinks RT went nuts. Afterwards it turns out his mic wasn't working all game long - but who needs a com communicating anyway when you got command wing to guess what he's up to.

So after losing several OP cons and a Tac RT actually starts to escort the pushed cons and things work out a little better ( At this stage sp4wn is so nice to provides me with a nice prox pickup so I can launch quickly to stop him from doing his damn recon work - but I think he eyed the second tac con anyway

)

RT is pushing the Tac next to SF's Garr/Sup, HvyInt bombs the TP in the sector and continues to destroy the Sup while SF is bombing somewhere else.. Shortly afterwards the Garr is HvyInt bombed too. Fun game as always SF! (Was especially nice to see that you guys tried a non IC faction)

Result: » RT wins

Hey I never go IC! (OK, once but it was against my free will!)

It was fun. Our mistake was not taking out that carrier as it passed our op!

"Guys, camp for the bomber"
I said "don't worry, I've got it"
they said "come on, we need to camp"
I said "Hey, LISTEN TO ME, don't worry it's going to die to my hunters in 10 seconds!"
10 seconds later, bomber dies
"Oh, don't worry, bomber is dead now I think"
I say "YES IT IS OF COURSE IT IS I HAVE BEEN TELLING YOU FOR AGES WHY WON'T ANYONE LISTEN!!!!!!!"

Man I got so mad, of course my mic was switched off the whole time....

Wow looks like SF got a bit stomped, I mean it doesn't make a difference in deciding game winners but there are only 2 @SF's with a positive K/E ratio and it ain't that high either.

Also RT had 2 CDT's playing as well so it doesn't look like SF neeeded the extra manpower Adept

The CDTs were flying. And the K/e came from them having hvy ints for ages and we had enh figs. So anyone having positive K/e on our team is amazing.

Dreg Figs are pretty powerful.
