BSG is on Autoupdate, so you do not need to download anything

You don't - you
1) fire up allegiance
2) Look if a BSG game is running - you can join one if there is
3) If not create a new game on the server of your choice, and select the BSG core from the dropdown list

It should automatically be ready for use...

Ok thanks, I've figured it out now. Played a game to test it out, its brilliant! The Battlestar is huge! I went through an Aleph and accidentally rammed my Station! It fill ups half a sector!
