I use TF, and always end up getting gangbanged and boxed into a couple of sectors  . Then I either end up resigning or they finish me :glare: . Is it because TF is too slow? Because I don't expand enough? Because I don't scout enough at the start? WHY?!?!?!

It's probably because you have no idea how to actually play the game.

STFU, I signed up for the game ages before signing up for the forums. I know how to play. I just always seem to find myself in the same old mess.

Expanding quickly is good for forward mining. If it's a small game you might want to spam towers. TF evolve slowly, so that's a part of the issue.

Also in large multi team games, alliances tend to get formed. Use diplomacy to secure a friend to your side so you only have one threat to really deal with for a time.

In all honesty, Shiz is probably right, you might need to gain more experience as a pilot before you try commanding. It isn't easy, believe me.

Plus if nobody knows who you are and you keep commanding (and losing), your reputation will go down the drain and you'll have a hard time picking up the pieces in the future if you want to command when you get more skill.

You've played <100 games, go sign up for cadet. Keep playing for a month or two after that then ask to get into ACS.

Don't find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain.

Small games and games with more than two teams represent real allegiance about as much as salami represents a pig.

If you're too daft to get that, then it means 'Small games/Small Multi-Teamers suck. Go play on the main game'

You lose because your team sucks.

You usually want to get at least 10 vets on your team, then you would lose a lot less.

Here's my advice: learn other comms' strategies. Look at aarm.
