Notwhistanding the recent boards update that borked Pook's skin the verdicts for Squad Tourney 2008's round three are now in. Scroll down for more about the calendar.

System X defeat Wildcards
Palidor's Knights defeat Xenotech
***
Rolling Thunder defeat Steel Fury
German Borg defeat Slipshod R&M
***
Final for ninth and tenth place
Black Shadow defeat Roman Legion

Thanks go to pkk for actually making me notice that the calendar as was originally posted was correct. If you have the original xls/pdf document with the schedule, please notice the sides in game seven are swapped over in that document. Finally, please slap me next time I try to use logic to fix what ain't broke

Long story short: ACE vs RT, XT vs GB and SF vs SRM (final for 7th).

No "lower-hand" team winning so far. I blame Raveen for seeding too good and the rest of the OC for being unable to nudge him :D

Question - in last year's tourney AFAIK the winners of 20 had to beat the winners of 17 twice to win the title (ie - double elimination). Is this the case this year?

I'm sorry, but Raveen's the one organising this tourney. I just get to spam in News about it :D

So far I've watched Ace beat XT, and PK beat XT. I'm surprised Virulence lets me watch XT games ;)

Both games were lots of fun to watch though, and I'd like to thank Ace, PK, and XT for letting me watch. I love watching these squad games! It's too bad no one made a sort of 'observer' category of player for the game.

Also, is there a way to determine the seeding from the tournament match list?

SysX/PK, ACE, XT, SF, RT, GB, BS, SRM, SPQR. (or something similiar) was pre seeding iirc
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday
