So here I am, on the road at an academic business conference. Free WiFi everywhere....... Allegiance installed..... some boring presenters /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I think I can play with a touch pad...

What are the strangest places you have played Allegiance?

I played at a car dealer while waiting for an oil change. I asked if they had wireless for waiting customers and they told me no, only to find that they had wireless and the stupid bastardos used the default passwords and keys and such, which I quickly got past...

Had no joystick so... I too, sucked real bad.

I played in the United terminal at JFK airport. At first I had my headphones unplugged, and didn't realize. Imagine in the context of a crowded airport terminal how the average chatter of an Allegiance game sounds:

'Attack bombers!'
'Outpost under attack!'
'Attack scouts!'
'Find lava!'

I play Allegiance in my dreams. Ridin' Patty is particularly satisfying, it leaves me waking up with a comfortable feeling.

On a slightly different note, I have turned the computer on whilst sleep walking apparently, after unsetting the alarm and unlocking the door. Apparently I'm a ninja when I sleep.

Get this... I knew that I would be away for a few days so what did I pack to take with me to this conference..... my USB joystick. See you online in a few hours.

And yes, using your cell phone does count.... what was the lag like?
