Ok, I know most everyone wants to play to win.
Not me, I generally play to have fun, be that winning or losing.
But I'm awefully tired of IC exp games. Yes, I know it's benifits. Yes, I know that hvy ints are the god of dogfighting, and if you get hvy ints then it may as well be game over by the time your htt's get up.
As good as hvy ints are, I'm absolutly worthless in them. Don't ask me why, I lost a battle to a scout once (he didn't even use prox). So please don't yell at me when I say that I refuse to fly for IC; indeed, I couldn't be more bored and more worthless.
Know what an allegiance nightmare would be? IC vs IC. I'd sooner log off than play.
Is anyone else bored of it?

My friend, not everybody needs to be good in an interceptor.
IC exp vs. IC exp? Guess what, they will still need scout pilots. Interceptors are basically blind. Fly a scout. Probe up and and learn to fly low sig (drop sields and missiles) and nan the HTT's when they are up. You can even combat nan your sides interceptors when they are putting the hurt on the enemy.

Before the days of DN, dreg, technoflux and ga'tarran, it was even worse, back then there was no stopping IC and EVERY DAMN GAME was ic vs this ic vs that. Be glad that we at least have some possible counters to lt ints in the early game. IC still remains as allegiance on easy mode and will always attract the players who want to rack up kills against inferior craft (and inferior opponents). Why? because flying an int is fun, thats why. It is one of the harder ships to get good in, because you have to get up close and personal to your target, but once you get the hang of it, you'll always have an advantage ship-wise in the early game. So just practice in your int some more and join the ranks of scout chasers.

I am always happy when I get to fly something besides INTS. As much fun as it is too boost everywhere, I like having the finesse of missiles on my ship. I mean only guns? is this WW2? or mofoin spaceship combat.
