There were some weird commanding decisions from both teams, but it all worked out for us in the end. We had two awesome cons which planted against the odds - the first one was in a sector with 5 friendlies and 20 enemies in the sector at the time it planted, and the other was similar to that too.

Lots of time in a pod = lots of screenies (from Europe point of view)

Heavy early miner D (first 5 min):

The op Gandalf is talking about:

Some nice miner D from blue:

Pretty even for a VS World game (about 30 min):

We chased these assault ship for ages:

An overload TP2 drop:

Against XRMs, heavy nannage:

Same, with a nice quote from Duckwarrior /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> :

One nice try on the sy:

The end of the world (what a mess):

Great game! Thanks to the event team and the comms, and everybody else /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> .

Don't stop there. Get rid of sector overload, or raise the limit.

(that said, I think switching the sound to the Benny Hill Show theme music as somebody suggested is starting to sound appealing)

/edit A warm thank you to the event coordinators. The consept was great and it worked beautifully. I was surprised at how even the sides were.

In addition I won the lottery. In the last run, my xrm dealt the final blow to the SY. What a test of skill!!! (turn to face SY, tape missile button down, watch the race between sector overload and station hitpoints...) /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />

Meh, not worth criticising. Wish I hadn't said anything now. It all worked out good in the end.

One of the fun things in such a big game is that I found whenever I launched a bomber, a cloud of nans would appear behind me before long, which was cool /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> One of the most fun bits of the game was when I flew the bomber on a bomb run on your shipyard, which failed (died at 1.3k) but the escort killed a tp con and a miner that were in the sector at the time /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

if we had gotten a bit more cap ships and had also gotten hints, that would've changed the game, and also if our commander would've pushed an op the one of the back sectors (dublin in this case) or even both, that would've gave us a real advantage but we didn't, and even though we had the stack, we lost

but i guess mad did a good job for giving us a really fun game, kudos to you mad
