So this is a little something a whipped up in draft form

Any thoughts so far?

I'll probably do some different ones too, but this is what I got for now.

Nice!

Hint: Add a little terrain (ship going to planet or something) to give the Quantus feeling.

Yeah, I need to find an object that can be identified as a planet in the small space a userbar has to offer which is a bit problematic.

I'm not sure I could do the ship thing as we have no finished models yet, but hey, i'll see what i can do.

saturn could be cool, don't have it totally centred, shift it to the left a bit.

Do you think it should be silhouetted against the sun?

I agree; it's good, but part of a planet on the bottom, sillouetted, would be best.

Thanks to Spliffy I have managed to get some planet like awesomeness out of the internet, but chances are it isn't going to be a silhouette. What i'll do (probably) it put the sun to one side and the planet on the other, so it's sort of a side on view from them both (which avoids the problem of shadow entirely).

Anyhoo, if all things are good and I'm not lazy, this weekend is a good time to do it.
