Presenting the Iron Coalition all-terrain scout bike.
Scouts in Quantus should be motorbikes. /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

I had a chat with wyld, and he helped me figure out how to make some of these things, so I might be making some stuff.

If you're using Torque, keep in mind that vehicle models should come in several different parts. Separating every vehicle into chassis, shocks, and wheels lets Torque do fairly realistic things (both visually and physically). It also lets you re-use models by scaling up or down and attaching different components.
And, yes, turrets should be a different model as well. Upgrading a turret could then be a matter of changing the turret model: same animation code, but now it looks cooler. Since Torque vehicles allow for arbitrary mount points, you could have vehicles which can mount a variety of guns in a variety of positions, and the model would update to reflect the current armament.

And you can 'look' with the guns without physically moving. Very handy!

Sure, that would be the equivalent to a vector lock in alleg i guess, but much harder to pull off in Quantus because of the terrain /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

bike looks fan-$#@!ing-tastic, and the little things on the sides which may be exhausts or afterburners are the piérce dé resistánce. The only problem I have is that its hosted in crappy imageshack

Bad news, Sharp. It's imageshack again!
This chunkified beastie was originally intended to be a Gigacorp scout bike, which is why the cockpit section resembles their spaceborne scout somewhat.
But having finished this particular groove, I gotta say I think it's got more of a Belters vibe to it. What d'you think?
