dont bother getting this to work as me and radruin are thinking of changing the game engine to torque!asheron2k wrote:QUOTE (asheron2k @ Oct 10 2007, 01:18 AM) Doesn't work for me.
first missing dll
after moving my copy(from the 1.4 beta)
I get an entry point error
Could you upload one with the dll or could you say which version you used?
Nice to see you making an effort though!
If you guys are going to collectively learn a code, then let me in on the secret as to which one, so I can kinda tag along and hopefully help later on ...

Definitely going with C++, whether I get Torque (which I'm now leaning heavily toward), or Irrlicht + other libraries, or G3D + other libraries.
Definitely C++. Actually Cad, if you could figure out how the heck to network stuff, you would totally be my hero.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxdm5SGvFR4
EDIT: Changed the link I'm normally a purist and go with the original singer (Bonnie Tyler in this case) but this version (Jennifer Saunders) is quite good too, and the video totally owns the Bonnie Tyler one.
