What was the cause of that?

Ok, teams were kinda small(9 vs 90. I had someone on my team. He takes a bomber and solo the enemy garrison(Well, with 1 nan) while everyone else was busy elsewhere. It seemed all good, but then, as we all tried to kill the enemy bases in very closes battle, he was in an empty sector. Many wondered what he was doing... but then, he told us that he was in fact scouting for an enemy base ans somewhat accused the team of being stupid to not find him a base to bomb. He stayed in that empty sector for like 5 min, until a random enemy passed by and forced him to rip. He then docked and went in another(or the same) empty sector. He still couldn't find anything and whined at us even more. I mean, we were all busy bombing bases and hunting miners while defending... When I asked him what he was doing, he said that he was scouting(in a bomber).

The reason I'm posting this is that it came from from someone who has been playing for a long time and not from a random newbie.

So what was the cause:

-Drugs(pls mention which one would be strong enough for that)
-Alcohol
-Mental retardation
-He was kidding/trying to make his team mad on purpose
-just stupidity
-An extremely bad day?
-Others?

Ok here is what happened.

I was the first nan on him.

After we went after the garrison, we saw a scout coming from what looked like the missing aleph since the map was not plotted out yet.

He headed in that direction, and silly me I followed. I noticed that we were leaving the grid, and the aleph was already found on our way.

I gave him a comand to head back to the other aleph to finish off a base or two, then headed out of there leaving his with the other Nan, because you needed me elsewhere to do something.

What he did beyond that is beyond my understanding (not very good at crwling into other people's minds)

I ignored him after I left the area, but found it rather odd that he stayed there as long as he did.

Now as far as the drugs, mental deficiencies, or whatever, I do not know, nor do I feel that I should comment on that. (I sort of represent the mentally disabled, even though I am a highly functional brain injured person with an above average IQ) It would kinda sound like the Pot calling the Kettle thing ya know?

Jay, I never had any problems with you and would never have known about your brain problem if you didn't tell me.
And imo, the most stupid people aren't those with problems with their brain but those who would rather not use it.
Also, if I read what you said about it, it basically made you slower at some things, but you seem to still have 100% of your ability to judge a situation(even though it might be slower, but I didn't even notice it), that guy just never realized he was totally useless and watching him from comm view was really painfull.

I'd vote for drugs/alcohol personally.

And actually, drizzo made a good guess.
