Wow, that is actually pretty cool. I was thinking about saving for a laptop, but this might fit the bill better! Wonder how you could play alleg on it without a kb/mouse?

what you using for controls though? what is allegiance like on a touch screen, i haven't installed allegiance on my tablet pc as i always have my desktop when i have internet access.

actually, i may have to give it try, mainly so i can join in a mouse vs joystick debate and say i use my pen to fly and shoot

looks like you can get bluetooth mouse+keyboard but still...

What Terr said. It's actually best with a bluetooth mouse/keyboard and a USB joystick or gamepad. The thumbstick on the side actually acts as cursor keys, so I can "fly" with some effectiveness while holding it in my hands.

While the UMPC platform is awesome as it is, it will only get better and cheaper with time. I only got this model so soon because I want it for an upcoming trip.

I was thinking of getting a UMPC, but they were about 2x more expensive than they promised, so I ended up getting a tablet PC for less than your UMPC /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
