This is where I need to say 'Why'. No good demanding change just for the sake of it. But truth is, I don't have any good reasons.

I guess, well. The main thing for Dreg is speed. Push your cons hard and fast near the enemy, then use your speed to get at them and constantly harass them until you get tech and bases and etc.

But it seems like dreg is getting out expanded a lot, and I just feel that having figs instead of ints would make them a lot more fluid, and able to get at the enemy easier.

Plus I'm sick of dreg exp vs IC exp.
Plus I prefer to fly dreg figs than dreg ints.


Thoughts?

dreg ints suck the big one, id be down with dreg figs, at least those things can deal some damage before they die.

Hmm. Isn't it a little amusing that a missile and speed faction like dregs gets int as the starting ship. I would say fighters or perhaps even light stealth fighters would make much more sense.

The Missile perks on Dreg are fairly recent, designed to make Sup and Tac more appealing. The were originally a hard-core Expansion faction, particularly with their old borrowed-and-reskinned models. Take a look at how they were in, say, A+10 or A+11 (that's the version that immediately preceded DN's initial appearance).

Would it be possible to decrease the model size from anywhere to 10-20%? It would really just be needed on scouts and ints, and would certainly make sense in the hard hitting fast attack theme that they have going. If its just a matter of changing a couple scale values, it might make them competitive again, but if it would require a complete rehaul... forget I asked.

I like the idea of fighters instead of lt ints for Dreg to start... then again lt ints are a nice starting ship even though it might make more sense to have fighters with the current theme of Dreg.
