Good for you. Tell all your clan friends to play too. Just don't expect to always all get on the same team to begin with - a newbie stack sucks.
Install Teamspeak if you want to learn quickly. Easier to explain things to newbies verbally than to type everything out.
Have fun and good luck. After one month you will either be sick of the "anti-newb attitude", realise that the game is too complex for you, or love it for all time.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.
Hi there, welcome to the game.
You'll have pleanty of people telling you to sign up for cadet. But in the interm, feel free to ask if there is anyone around who might be willing to show you the ropes. Cadet instructors and advisors, like myself, are happy to go with you to another server and answer questions in a less stressful environment.
Best game around, and it's worth taking the time to get grounded.

Again, welcome! (I said that previously last night prior to our little "orientation" game.) /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
If you do get on TS, I'd be happy to explain a few points about the game. Grabbing territory is very important, for instance. You allowed me to take all the secors except for two. Great for me, very bad for you. Don't worry about it, though.. it's just the type of thing that you need to learn... and that takes time. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
