Ban bug ?

I cant connect alleg : so i try to know why
and it is the answer :

03/05/2007 17:35:30 23 hours, 55 minutes. beepmaster ASGS System Veteran on Newbie Server. Game #23030 ???

What that bug ?

I may be on newbie server, i play only few seconds, i was (0) then, (1) and now (9) in few days (statistics seems not working fine someone said to me : read the other post i send here ) but if i read stats : im not "Veteran" im "Intermediate" !

And I received no warn about that....

I can read that on the website :
Any violation of the above rules will result in an immediate and clear warning from an admin or senate member.

I really dont understand, i think that autoban dont work : cause im not vet, i received no warn, and i dont know if that game was a newbie server or not : i can only play few minutes, and few people said me that stats dont count : sometimes I 'm (0) then (6) and after that (1) and now (9) ... ???

I don't think autoban will give you any warning at all. Newbie server all have a title saying "NEWBIE SERVER" so you can't really miss it.

And i think the system bans everyone even if you only play a few minutes, and even if the stats don't count. And the newbie server only allow noobs on (in other world, novice) so if you're a inter, stay away from it /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

And robots don't know the diffrence between Vet and Inter. So either you're a newbie (7 and below), or you're a vet. That's the best answer i have.

And calm down this is only a 24 hour ban you'll be back tomorrow /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

You should report that on allegiance rules :
rules are rules or there is no rule at all...

- so no ban with no warn is admitted
- inter equal vet
- inter cant join newbie serv

Other points :
- Robot dont know difference, but people who programm robot know the difference.
- I can really miss it, and no notive about ban, is it like a button : "dont click here ?", and english is not my main language.
- I dont really know why my stats jump to (9) ! really, few weeks ago I was (1), i write a post about that : cause i climb slowly until (5) and after famous stats reset, i was again (0) then (1) and after that (0)... and after few days (9) ! ? ! ?

To conclude : you really need to edit rules : with programming better banbot, or by editing rules text in website.

i think jgBaxter made it quiet clear in a post that only 7 and down are allowed. If you should have a rank of 9 or above and you have the skill for it, just don't go in the NEWBIE SERVER.

And for that rank thing, read this: It's my post about it since i had the same event with the rank. You have a 9, then you're a inter. And NEWBIE SERVER is for novice and newbies, and i hope you're better than that. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

Actually Angela your wrong, posting that in the DEV forum will achieve nothing. Beepmaster, speak to the senator at large about this, Lindy_hop is his name. He speaks to the Allegiance senate on your behalf.

beep, chances are, you'll get nothing resolved by the time the ban runs out anyways, and now you know newbie server is off limits.. so no harm done.

Beepmaster, the rules are clearly outlined whenever you create a new account.

Only newbies are allowed on the newbie server.

I'm sorry that you did not read the rules of conduct when creating your account, but the rules are clearly posted.
