The Red Phoenix Clan is looking for members to join its forming Allegiance Branch. If you would like to apply sign up here and make a post at www.redphoenixclan.com under general discussion the allegiance placeholder. Is has taken me a year to get this branch the approval from our own clan to start looking for recruits who would be interested in joining. Recruitment is open to all players who are able to commit to bi-monthly practices. We expect all members to be courteous to other players and people. Have a clean language since we have young members who wish to join. And have an enthusiasms to play the game and get better.
1. Get 10-15 players who are willing to play as a squad. I STRONGLY suggest to get a couple of vets from here to join. Or Cadet grad's who are not in a squad.
2. Run your people through the Cadet program.
3. Make use of the Academy. EXPLORE it, there is a ton of information there.
Start here: Main lesson index
Once you have the 10 minimum to form a squad. Petition Tigereye for a squad setup in ASGS system. (Note the requirement is under review by the Senate about # of vets involved). Once you have played 3 "official" squad games against another squad, you than may petition the senate for official recognition.
Once again skill is not a factor. We will accept all who wish to join as long as they follow the rules. The rules are
*Limited swearing in the server
*No swearing or verbal abuse to members
*No abuse to people in the server or on forums
*Be able to attend at least 2 practices a month(usually an hour long)
Post your game user name here and tell us some things about yourselves. Please no off topic posts or random rants as i will ask to have them deleted. We are very committed to making Allegiance a branch of our clan. Thank you.
New Squad looking to join Allegiance
I wish you all the luck in organizing your group. Once your clan has learned Allegiance and you guys have settled in/become members of our community, you can apply to turn your group into a squad.
Since there've been quite a few groups in the past who jumped the gun too early and became a "squad" before learning the game, I urge you to settle in before asking for a @tag. Too many squads have disbanded after a month because they either didn't learn how to play, or didn't learn our community before applying. They ended up breaking apart because they couldn't play, or because our community turned out to be different from whatever it was they were expecting.
Don't let those happen to you /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
All the best,

Good luck guys, if you want to practise with an established squad let me know and we'll see what we can arrange. We'll also be happy to be one of your 3 official squad games when that time comes (not for a while yet I assure you /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> ).
Listen to all of BVs advice and feel free to ask for help from the other squads (SF and RT both have people who have experienced the highs and lows of trying to get a new squad started).
Here's hoping you can bring in a bunch of new people and make a go of it.
