@romoser: Did you try these steps?

I notice that you have the same router.

I've tried to login with the beta client and that succeeded, also, i know how to forward ports, but is it safe to do it against hackers?
Also, issnt there a way to change the ports that allegiance uses?
PS: The modem is a thompson speedtouch, a router and modem in one.
PPS: I'm using ICS because im connected trhough the internet with a LAN cable that is connected to a switch that is connected to the modem/router.

Hmm i dont think the modem/router has a port trigger program.vlad13 wrote:QUOTE (vlad13 @ Oct 29 2006, 05:16 AM) Opening ports is not really a security problem, however if you are worried about security you can use port triggering which means the ports will only be opened while you are playing. That is if your router supports triggering, i haven't looked it up yet.
I use a Thompson speedtouch 510, which at portforward.com doesnt support port triggering, it also says that it cant forward the requested ports, but i never had any problems with ports before in any game (maybe once or twice, but that was from my firewall i guess).
Ok looks like you have two options:
1) Upgrade the firmware to the latest one that supports forwarding and triggering:
http://www.speedtouch.net.nz/510seriesFirmware.htm
(this might fix other problems as well)
2) Forward 2 ports like 2300,2301 and and use dxport to run allegiance.
Here are some manuals for your modem http://speedtouch.net.nz/500seriesDocuments.htm

Ive checked the ports with the tool if they were open, and they either say there closed, or that theres a connection timeout whilst checking the ports.
