Hmm specialy the part i highlighted sounds familiar, i had that not having set my firewalls set yet.ECSit wrote:QUOTE (ECSit @ Sep 7 2006, 10:10 PM) when i get everything ready and i am at the main screen after you press login, i get these problems...

The intro on the other hand doesnt work with me either even tho im playing. *shrugs*
And honestly, forget the intro, the game is so much more fun /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
Anyways, firewall would be my first guess, i have one that prompts upon connection attempts in or out and lets me set permanent yay or nay rules for the specific port and program. Good ones always prompt you and automaticaly set the correct port range to open for that specific utility right when it tries to connect, from thereafter.
If you have the XP firewall and actualy use it, forget it, turn it off. (please not b4 you got another decent one activated)
Use a good McAfee, Kerio or somat like those instead.
Some routers also do have built in firewalls, which you either have to configure to pass thru all traffic to ure PCs internal network IP and let the PC firewall sort stuf out. Or you set port opening rules.
Note please that the routers port opening rules are permanent and will be open at any time, so id advice a good PC firewall and setting the router to pass all traffic thru.
Edit: There are even some like Zone Alarm , if i recall right that have problems with online games in general and have to be totally uninstalled even, in order to play.
So far my 2 cents to thisone.
PS.: Please still do the above by TheBored suggested, the firewall is just a guess from my side.
And oh yea having a tech issue doesnt make you a noob m8. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Anyone can have that.
