Resolution Help - Stuck at 800*600

Hello all,

I am recently returned to Allegiance after a very long absence. Great job to the community for keeping the game alive through many challenges.

Now for my question. I have installed the latest patch and can't seem to change the resolution from 800*600 to 1024*768. Didn't see anything on the topic on the knowlegebase. Have tried both software and hardware rendering settings as well as clicking for higher resolutions with the mouse and using the "H" command.

I am running Windows XP Pro sp-2 with an ATI x800xt pe with current catalyst drivers.

You need to be flying or at least in the hanger (have joined a game) before you can change your res.
If you are sitting in the lobby or even before that at the main allegiance screen, you cannot change res.

I take it you are running in full screen mode?

I have been in full-screen mode. Thanks for the suggetion, it worked. Wow, I am such a noob. Much better at 1024*768... Any chance of 1280*1024 in a future build?

Alleg can go to 1280*1024 (in fact I think it can do 1600*1200 but don't quote me on that) just keep making your resolution higher via the ingame menu.

Be warned though, the HUD elements are sized by the pixel so they get relatively smaller as the resolution goes up.
